Florida Endocrinology and Diabetes Center was founded by Dr. Venkata Budharaju in 2011 with a goal to build a team of highly skilled doctors and health educators in order to better serve the Endocrine needs of the Tampa Bay area. We offer comprehensive and individualized programs to treat diabetes, thyroid and other endocrine disorders, including pituitary disease, adrenal disease and osteoporosis.
Dr. Budharaju has extensive background and training in treating both acute and chronic endocrine problems and is board certified in the sub-specialty of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Living with a chronic illness is never easy and we understand that quality endocrinology care requires treating the patient, not just their disease. We will take the time to comprehensively evaluate your health, answer all your questions, develop an individualized plan for optimizing your health, and ensure continuous and timely communication with you and your primary care provider.
With the help of our affiliations we are able to provide services in nutrition counseling, certified diabetes education classes, one on one diabetes education sessions; thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration(FNA)procedures.
